I love the umbrella shaped stone pine-pinus pine that is ubiquitous in Southern Europe. Unfortunately, my place (Reno, NV) is too cold for the tree. I am trying to find a pine that would give me similar umbrella look but can survive the winter here. ANY PINE EXPERT CAN HELP?
Stone pine look alike that hardy to zone 7a
you may consider Pinus densiflora 'Umbraculifera'
