I did another turn around when I saw this tree in a yard. I've seen a couple more since then. I snapped a few pics from my car and a few people were pissed passing around me. Oh well...

Is this sourwood?

One of my biggest favorites.
After losing 5 of them I finally have a so far successful one.
Hope to add one per year to my garden.

Quercusnut- they are really easy to sprout from seed, and seed is really cheap, if you want a grove of them.

p.s. here is a link to my thoughts about difficulties growing Sourwood which might be due to lack of symbiont- I did end up doing this, and it may have helped!
