Hello everyone!. These bug are around my garden and found there way into my home. I know the odds of them being dangerous are extremely low but I do have a four-year-old boy that's VERY adventurous and love's critters!.. So I get Worried when I start seeing weird insects. Anyone's help will be very appreciated thank you and God bless
It's a weevil (beetle in the family Curculionidae) - it might be Diaprepes abbreviatus, a species whose larvae feed on the roots of many different plant species - see http://anrcatalog.ucanr.edu/pdf/8131.pdf
