Hello yet again,
First, I appreciate all the support here---such a great way to learn more and get your questions answered. Otherwise I would be hunting and pecking through the internet aimlessly, often without success.
When zooming in to inspect a larger insect on my flowering carrot, I noticed this odd pale insect lower down on the flowers. Is it a spider in an infant stage? I apologize for the semi blur of the pictures..wasn't my primary aim when focusing the photo but fascinating to me. Thank you! Elizabeth
CLOSED: Alien insect
It's a crab spider (family Thomosidae), maybe in the genus Mecaphesa - https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4153/5060899904_025b6bbd5a_z.jpg
Thank you! ethereal looking creature---such long front legs! Fascinating...
