All my wave petunias died on a cascading wall. I think it was fungus after black mulch was put down. I need to replace them but wave is hard to find at this time. Too leggy at the nursery. What else can I put in that place Something that dont get taller then 10" and need something that trails or spreads. Im in NY zone 7 Thanks.
Best flower for late summer/fall blooming Zone 7
Evolvus Glomeratus, Blue Daze. Million Bells?
If you think it's a "fungus" from the black mulch, do you think putting flowers back in the same area again would be safe?
You can buy petunias that are straggly, and they will re-bloom nicely if you cut them back.

One of our favorite trailing plants is ivy geranium. It blooms all summer, the leaves almost always look great, and they are easy to over-winter if you have a bright area.
I think "joel" is missing.
