This may not seem like a very exciting question but I'm more so curious than anything. Anyways, while I was moving our recycling bin earlier this morning I noticed several ants inside (no surprise there) but what I found so fascinating was when I moved the bin most of them froze in place but some didn't. About 5 of them kept moving around while the others were "frozen". Could anyone she'd any light onto why some of these ants stopped while others kept working? Thanks!!
