We just moved into a property and after few days released that we were bitten (mostly at night) by some sort of pest. At first we thought that these were fleas because they jump but after applying a number of anti flea products still have the problem. So now I'm not sure what that is. Hopefully someone can recognize the bloodsuckers. Please see photos.
This looks a lot like a thrip. Thrips are usually found outside, but I suppose they could come inside under certain conditions. The adults do jump, and they have rasping mouthparts that can cause an irritating "bite".
