Anyone know what spider this is?

Brighton, United Kingdom

Looks like it could just be a common spider though I've never seen it before... also thought it looked like something which might come over on bananas. Any ideas appreciated. I live with false widows so I'm always more concerned about those so when I see something that's not I'm more curious because I don't know what it is. It actually looks a lot smaller and paler than this and I didn't even notice the markings until I saw the second lot of pictures I took close up.

You may have two types of spiders here - at least one looks like a crab spider (family Thomisidae), but most look more like running crab spiders in the family Philodromidae (these typically have the second pair of legs longer than any of the other legs). Both are harmless to humans.

Thanks, yes the lighting has made some of the pictures look a bit different. The marking you can't actually see just from looking at it normally. Thanks for info.
