CLOSED: Bugs on the Pumpkin

Pikesville, MD(Zone 7a)

These showed up one day on my great-granddaughter's mini-pumpkin. At first I guessed they might be harlequin nymphs -- What do I know?!
They scatter around the pumpkin when startled, and then regroup to party!

These are newly hatched nymphs of a leaf-footed bug (family Coreidae); likely in the genus Leptoglossus.

Thank you! I literally blew them off and harvested the little pumpkin before damage was done.
