I usually have good success with peppers but this year is different. My plants look terrible and I don't know what is causing the problem. The plants are different kinds, bought from different places and planted in different spots but they are all having the same problems. There is no fruit on them and precious few blooms. The plants look scraggly. They are not branching out and getting full. The growth is just along the stem and the leaves are getting brown spots on them before they turn yellow and dry and fall off. I would sure appreciate some advice.
Pepper Troubles
Cajun? How are your peppers? Was it from bugs do you think? Did you try pulling a plant and looking for root nematodes? Were they getting splashed in full sun?
I came to the conclusion it must have been cucumber mosaic virus after I did some reading. I was afraid to leave them in the field because they were planted among the tomatoes that can also contract it. I pulled them all up and got rid ot them.
