I start to notice a lot of these around my tomato plants. Can you identify them?

This is a sap beetle (family Nitidulidae) in the genus Glischrochilus - see http://www.pbase.com/tmurray74/image/78925366 for an example. These can cause direct damage to soft fruits such as strawberries, and often will invade fruits/vegetables that already have been damaged by other causes.
