CLOSED: Is this a type of Ground Bug
Not a ground bug, but a plant bug in the family Miridae; looks like Grypocoris stysi - http://www.britishbugs.org.uk/heteroptera/Miridae/grypocoris_stysi.html
Thankyou. I suppose the clue was that it is feeding on a plant!

The families Lygaeidae (ground/seed bugs) and Miridae (plant bugs) appear to be closely related. The genus Lygus is in the family Miridae!
