Bug identity

San Antonio, TX

I've been seeing these little guys on the walls lately. I'm not sure if it's due to the humidity (it has been raining a lot) or just the need to clean (which I have, thoroughly). Any help would be appreciated.

The overall shape of this critter looks like that of a pea/been weevil (a leaf beetle in the subfamily Bruchinae). Larvae of these beetles usually feed in the seeds of legumes such as peas and beans, so if you have anything like that in your pantry, check for signs of infestation.

I'll double check the pantry. Thank you!
