We had a lot of heat and drought and I didn't get my adoptions from a plant swap in the ground until fall. I am not sure what this was supposed to be, or if the original plant died and a bird planted me a shrub. I am in Fort Worth, TX It has been in that flowerbed almost 2 years and is now almost 30 inches tall, woody stems only about 1/4 inch in diameter.
Mystery shrub or tree?
Looks like a healthy young Privet (Ligustrum sp.).
I suspect a bird donation...
Privet gets really big? This is a tiny flower bed. Does it bloom?
I don't think you want to keep it, anywhere...
Advice taken, thank you
