Hi there,
I've been cleaning up my backyard this past week and noticed a cluster of teeny, tiny, round, orange (almost fluorescent looking) bugs on my patio. At first, I thought they were bug eggs, but upon a closer look, I realized that they were moving! I sprayed them with the hose onto the grass and thought that I was done with them. Today, I noticed that there was another cluster on the barbecue, so I sprayed it with the hose again to get it off. About an hour later, they were back on the barbecue. It looks like there is a web that they're stuck to. I've been checking it on the Internet, but can't seem to identify them. I'd really like to know what they are so that I'll know how to get rid of them.
Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

These sound like mites of some kind. See if you can examine one under a magnifying glass - if its first pair of legs appear to be much longer than the others (and maybe waving about like antennae), these might be clover mites (see https://www.ppdl.purdue.edu/PPDL/images/clover-mites.jpg for an image), a very common nuisance pest that does no real harm.
