Id Please - Eastern Shore of MD

Specimen in first image not over 5mm or so. The wing patterning and legs of specimen #2 are different from most of the flies I see here.

Thanks again.

The first critter is a bark louse (order Psocodea), likely in the family Ectopsocidae – see http://www.pbase.com/tmurray74/image/153206653 for an example. The fly looks like Rhagio mystaceus, a snipe fly – see http://www.americaninsects.net/f/rhagio-mystaceus.html
BTW, I will be away from home base (and any computer from early this evening until Sunday noon or so and thus won’t be able to respond to any postings during that time.
