They are in my bathroom, about ant size, thy fly and prefer the ceiling.

This is a parasitic wasp, likely in the family Braconidae. They all prey on other arthropods, mostly other insects; nothing to worry about...

Are the likely to breed in doors? they seem to like the bathroom (i guess because of the moisture) or do you think they came from outside?
As they only 'breed' in other arthropods, it either is an accidental intruder or had emerged from a host arthropod that had entered your home earlier.

That sounds grim. quite a few in my bathroom so must be breeding from somewhere in there.
