This morning I noticed that the new buds on my clematis Romantika have been burrowed into by something. The holes are around 4-5mm diameter, and there's no 'leftovers' around the holes, like stickiness or powder or anything. The weather has been quite warm this week 23+ degrees Celcius. What has been burrowing into the buds and what can I do to stop it.?
