I keep finding these little buggers on my living room windowsills on the south side of our house (nowhere else, so far!) - maybe, five at a time. Very very small, less than a pin tip. I am wondering what they are, if they will cause any damage to structure (or bite us!) and if they will go away on their own. I am finding a few at a time, so it seems silly to call an exterminator but bugs in general really cause me anxiety with two little kids roaming around.
No need for any concern - This is a clover mite, a very common nuisance pest that often invades homes, but that causes no harm other than creating a reddish stain when they are crushed.
