I've had a few of these red visitors to my garden this year. Can anybody identify it? Thanks.

Very early but a lilly beetle it is! Squish em as they lay eggs whose grubs cover themselves in their own poo and devour Lilly's . I had big trouble with them two years ago but checking for eggs under leaves and squishing adults meant I had no poo covered blighters last year
