What type of spider is this? It was found in south west London.

This is a funnel weaver spider in the family Agelenidae, it might be a giant house spider (Eratigena atrica) - see http://www.spiders.us/files/eratigena-atrica-20.jpg for an image. These are not dangerous to humans.
