How do you close a thread? I and another DGer, can't seem to find a way to close our threads in the forums.

You can't. The site's owner, Internet Brands, broke it months ago, and are incapable of fixing that feature.

Just to let you know, this feature is now fixed for the identification forums. I tested this in the Plant and Insect forums, but not the bird forum as I had nothing recent there.
