Can anyone please identify this odd bug? I found it on the bottom of my cleaning sponge.. Located in USA, Tuscaloosa Alabama. Thank you!

This looks like a firebrat, Thermobia domestica, a common nuisance pest. See http://www.pestid.msu.edu/insects-and-arthropods/silverfish-and-firebrat/ for information on it and its close cousin, the silverfish.
