Image 1 - overall length ~5 mm. I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this one.
Image 2 - body length ~6mm. It was tucked up under a piece of siding, so there's a chance some parts may be hidden.

Identifying the first one may be quite difficult; it belongs to an assemblage of moth families collectively as 'microlepidoptera' and unless I get very lucky and stumble upon something, it may take an expert on that group to give you a satisfactory answer. The second critter is a female March fly (family Bibionidae)...
