These miniscule little flying insects are all over my ceiling (near the light) and I just found a ton of dead ones on a lightbulb :( They only show up at night. What are they? Must great rid of them!!

Hard to tell for certain from this image, but fungus gnats (basically nuisance pests) are a possibility. Their larvae develop in very damp/waterlogged soils with a high organic content, such as may occur with some potted plants.

Thanks, someone else just suggested they were fungus gnats too...never had them before. And I don't have any plants indoors! They only show up at night after I get home and open my patio doors - lots of landscaped plants out there but no idea what they are interested in inside!
