Hello out there! I've been finding quote a few of these little guys (well not that little probably about this size of a quarter) all around my house, sometimes on a wall sometimes just crawling across my carpet.. so im just trying to find any information on them, mostly weather or not they are dangerous. The picture isnt very clear but it has a mottled colored brow, black and tan body with light legs and a mottled patteren on those as well.
If by "size of a quarter" you include the leg span, it most likely is a male running crab spider in the family Philodromidae - see http://www.pbase.com/tmurray74/image/143679007 for an image. These are harmless to humans.
