G'day,
I looking for some tall bean plants to screen out my neighbors and grows some nutritious beans. I was looking at Navy Beans but they aren't tall enough, I need something about 3 meters plus (that's over 10 foot in degrees Fahrenheit).
The soil is slightly acidic and get direct sunlight most of the day. The area is around 3m (still 10 foot) by 1m (3 foot). We don't get a frost up here in Mount Nebo 600m about (2000 foot). Summer is around 35C (95F). .
Can anybody suggest a good bean to grow or an alternative food plant.
Thanks from Down Under
Dave.
Tall Bean Plants for food and screening
How about Scarlet Runner Beans. Very pretty, very tall and edible.
Thanks for the idea ... the kids I'm trying to screen out might eat them though.

I see what you are thinking "kill two birds with one stone" :)
