I would like to know the best hosta to put in front of an incrediball hydrangea. Zone 5 northern exposure.
hydrangea & hosta
What are you trying to accomplish with the Hosta? Are you looking for something to cover the bottom of the plant? Live in the shade of the Hydrangea?
Hydrangea require pretty much full sun and Hostas like shade. Hosta come in sizes too. From very small like 'mouse ears' that only reach about 6 inches full grown. At the other end are giant hostas that can reach over 30 inches tall. In between, there are all variety of sizes and colors. It all depends upon what you are trying to accomplish.
