Around this time of year every year these insects come into my room. Not too many but I may find one every 2 days at most.
They are oval shaped, black, brown and cream coloured and have wings. Although I don't see them flying. They are around 2.5 to 3mm in length.
What is this?
These look like Dermestidae beetles.

Maybe someone can narrow them down beyond family.
Looks like a varied carpet beetle, Anthrenus verbasci. When these beetles emerge from their pupal case, they are attracted to light, and thus often found at windows. They are trying to get outside, as they primarily are pollen feeders. Their larvae, however, can be destructive pests as they will feed on an extraordinary wide variety of organic materials, including wool and silk fabrics, furs, feathers, etc, and occasionally may be pantry pests.
