I am looking for plants that might help keep my driveway from washing away in heavy rains. The driveway crosses a small intermittent creek that can get pretty active in the occasional prolonged heavy downpour here in central NC.The cost of asphalt or other solid materials is prohibitive and I like nature better
earth holding plants
Central NC has different types of geography, hi silicate sands, what I use to hold is different than you could use. Liriope does hold an area. Tho some are more aggressive than others, the plants you want are probably very close to being classified as invasive- natives are best, but you need plants with the ability to produce massive root systems. Moncure isnt a city I am familiar with
