Hi, I have these coming up all over my garden, can anyone tell me more?
I kind of like them, looks like a perfect natural ground cover.
Plant Id
Violets (Viola sp.)!
Thank you!
That is awesome, they also seem to keep other weeds away.
But is this normal. There are hundreds of them and I didn't put any seed down neither have I ever had violets.
At first I thought it to be some kind of weed.
My mom calls them wild violets, the grown cover is spreading and from what I've seen at her home place voluntary as we've never planted any.
My son and I spent some time today picking the flowers for some wild violet syrup.
