I am posting these images hoping someone might have seen a similar spider.
It had a body length of about 8 mm.
Small green spider living in uncut grass area with in a forest area.
This is an orb-weaving spider (family Araneidae); the shape of the marking on its abdomen is like that seen on some Eriophora spp., but I have not seen any of those that are identical to your specimen...
Hi Flapdoodle I had to let you know that I have found out it is Colaranea melanoviridis A New Zealand Native spider
