I just purchased 2 Dwarf Flowering Almond Trees in large Monrovia pots. Do you think I can keep them in the pots on my patio or must they be planted?
Dwarf Flowering Almond Tree
You can keep your trees in pots but the Monrovia pot may not be the best choice. To be happy, your trees will need a minimum 10 gallon, insulated pot. Double walled plastic, ceramic, concrete... . The idea is to give the tree enough soil to protect the roots from the heat and cold. The heavy pot will help with that too.
