I an clueless about lilies.

Which ones would be successful in Texas zone 8ish?

I would say you could probably plant any lily you want. Just maybe plant the bulbs a little deeper so the roots stay cool. But I'm not a lily expert. Any reputable lily breeder could help you with those decisions. But it would also come down to your preference for colors and height, sun and shade you can provide
