Thanks Flapdoodle I have just had it identified as 'Wasp-like bee' (Hyleoides concinna)

That is one I definitely was not familiar with - thanks for enlightening everyone!
I was so focused on the abdominal pattern that I failed to look more closely at its head and thorax... :-(
