Hello everyone,
I was wondering what plants would do well hung indoors? I am particularly interested in hanging some in my little kitchen (where they would get a good bit of humidity), but any info/advice would be awesome. :)
Thanks!
What are the best plants to hang indoors?
My grandmother grew pothos ivy in her kitchen- had a ton of light near a window. If your kithen is dark there are different choices than a really light plant friendly kitchen.
Herbs like thyme, prostate rosemary, will drape, but are heat and light lovers. My home is too dark for anything to grow so I only put cuttings on the windowsill
I agree about the Pothos. Mine is near a window, but gets no direct sun. It is very happy. No leaf-shedding which is important over the dish drainer. I looked at photos online, mine I think is a variety called 'Silver Satin'.
I also really like my Hoya. There are many species. This one gets quite a bit of direct sun. The Hoyas will drop dried up flowers after flowering, but the flowers are nice anyway.
Here is a link to an article here in DG, it has a photo of the 'Silver Satin Pothos. I am not sure if non-paying members can see it.
