About six years ago I planted a young Bay Laurel tree in my front yard, and at first it looked like it was going to grow. but the my area started a drought condition where we could only water every other day and only in the early mornings and late evenings. Now my tree hasn't put out any new growth, and the leaves are turned light green and yellow. Is this tree dying?

I think it is in trouble. Do you have a county extension agent who could answer questions about what it needs?
Sounds like a possible iron deficiency. A tree of that age shouldn't be needed to be watered that often. I have 2 of them and once they were established I hardly ever water them, even in summer. Has it bloomed?
