So I found this weird flying bug just resting outside my works window. It's pretty long and large. It has two smooth wings. It's eyes seem to be on it abdomen and the pointed thing on top might be a sucker idk. It's anatomy is pretty odd. It's legs are huge and they hook at the end. Please help.

Thank you! that makes sense. In the back of our restaurant there is a small, slow moving waterfall and a bunch of trees. Along with the recent fall of our rotted tree around the patio area. I was so curious plus I hate not knowing what things are. It was very still as well. I thought it was dead honestly. But thank you very much!
