Hi I saw this thingy, about 1cm long, very tiny little caterpillar like thing - any guesses very appreciated! - Taken a few days ago in Capilano park, Vancouver, Canada (Feb)
Wierd Caterpiller-like insect - Help identify?
This is a caterpillar of a moth in the family Geometridae, a huge family containing thousands of species (nearly 1500 in North America alone). They sometimes are called loopers or inchworms because of their peculiar mode of locomotion.
