I moved my snake plant from my desk to the table in front of the picture window. It gets more natural light but it is cooler there. Do you think it might be too cool there? I also have my poinsettia and a few others there too. Any advice from an expert would be helpful.
Snake plant
That depends on how cool the picture window is. Most of my houseplant books say that snake plant should be kept at temperatures which don't fall below 60 degrees Fahrenheit.
Audrey--
Poinsettias do not like cold
If your Poinsettia is doing well there, your snake plant should be totally Ok too.
Snake plants are one of the most forgiving plants. NO special care needed.
You could go on a 2 month trip and come back--and it would be OK.
The worst you could do is over water it. It can go dry for a month and not suffer.
I am assuming your snake plant is fairly small? You had it on your desk....
If it is a small one--or maybe a bird's nest one--it will require a bit more attention.
But--still, do not over water it.
Mine is an old, big one. Gita
