Weird insect that eats hair and has two ends, please help ID

It is able to move the black head out both ends and it ate a very long hair, it also defecated out one of the ends.

In S. FL, these are probably second to termites in the amount of household damage. They have a wide range of favorite foods including silk, wool and even book covets and bindings. Don't know if it's the linen or the glue. I discovered they are attracted to the bait in roach hotels and it does kill them.
