CLOSED: I need help!! Can anyone tell me what insect this is?

Panorama City, CA

So, recently I moved to a new house. While cleaning my windows I noticed a small insect hanging from my window screen. I have never seen this type of insect. It was nice to know thought that the screen stopped it from entering the house.. Can anyone identify please? It might be a very known insect but I couldn't identify it by just looking at it.. I will post picture. Thank you :)

This insect appears to be long dead, with many of its identifying features (such as antennae and legs) apparently missing. The only one that would be of concern is a termite - see http://entnemdept.ufl.edu/creatures/urban/termites/western_drywood_termite02.jpg for an example.

Thank you Flapdoodle.. That makes sense.. Before moving to this house. They did a fumigation becuase the house inspector said he saw some termites.. That pretty much cleared it up for me :)

Just curious, being a native Floridian, what kind of termites are common there? I had a nightmare few years with dry and subterranean types in my house there. Subterranian are the worst. Treat and re-treat with very toxic poisons. They drilled the exteriors, including the concrete pool patio, and all the interior Cuban tile floors. Come following spring they swarmed again and in a matter of weeks ate door frames, doors, adjoining walls, baseboards, etc.. Between that and hurricane scares I opted out of retaining property and being a native daughter.

Can you tell me what kind of bug is this? First time I saw it in my garden, it looks beautiful but sometimes pretty means leathal. Let me know. Thank you.

Polka Dot Wasp moth, Syntomeida epilais. It's a moth not a wasp. The orange with black haired caterpillars feed on oleanders. It doesn't sting but can do a number on the oleanders.
