I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me identify this bug that I saw crawling along the wall in my new house. There were two of them and then one of themy crawled under the trim around the window. Anyone know? I'm horrible with identifying bugs so I apologize if this is glaringly obvious. Thanks!
Photo does not show subject clearly. Does it have any orange markings? My guess, based on what I see, is that it is a true bug, perhaps a Box Elder Bug, commonly intruding around windows this time of year.
I agree that a boxelder bug would be the most likely suspect...
I think I see just enough of that color to say agreed, and have seen them around my house lately too.
