I have a 1999 Jetta which was just shipped here(NJ) from Florida. I noticed a dead spider inside which was bigger than anything I've ever seen here. It was like a yellowish tan color but I think it may have been that color from being dried out in the car. The car had been sitting for years. I haven't been driving it as it needs a lot of work. I was moving stuff around in the trunk and a loose part of the trunk carpet had 3 or 4 spider eggs underneath. So they were just loose under the carpet on the metal of the trunk. I squished them and ooze came out. I was just outside and I opened a door and a spider ran up onto the roof moving so fast it may have even jumped a little in the scurry. And then went down the other side and ran around by the wiper blades(I saw the leaves moving) and disappeared. It was not as big as the corpse but looked maybe a little hairy, it was so fast. The corpse was probably like 2-3 inches. this thing maybe 1.5. I'm creeped out and don't want to work under the car anymore. Oh and the corpse seems to have disappeared.
