Granddaddy long legs??

I don't like spiders but if this is a grand daddy I don't want to kill it

This appears to be a cellar spider in the family Pholcidae; see http://www.pbase.com/tmurray74/image/34542011 for an example. These sometimes are called 'daddy long-legs,' but that name also has been applied to harvestmen (spider relatives in the order Opiliones) and crane flies. Cellar spiders are completely harmless to humans, and they sometimes prey on other spiders.

Well good to know. I will just leave it (and it's brethren) alone. Thanks for the response
