Black Widow?!?!?
This spider is in the family Theridiidae and genus Steatoda. Some species in this genus may be referred to as 'false widow spiders'; they can deliver a painful but not dangerous bite if mishandled. See http://www.uksafari.com/steatodagrossa.htm for an example.
