Just found this bug crawling on my pillow....anyone know what it is?

Looks like a severely squished beetle. The only one of concern would be a carpet beetle.
Hint: Undamaged specimens usually are much easier to identify...

Its tiny. Size of a flea but not a flea. Died when I barely touched it?
