this never did bloom..what was it?

I grew some stuff from seed but dont recognize this. It never bloomed. Anyone know what it is? Will it come back?

Possibly a Digitalis (foxglove) plant. If so, it's a biennial and should bloom next year.

I grew some foxglove for first time this yr..look exactly like that with fuzzy leaves. One kind blooms first yr...they were lovely...others did not....looking forward to next yr...and they will definitely be more in my garden...I will winter sow more but hope they self seed more also!

I think pammesue is wondering if the Digitalis is a perennial.

Its biennial, as noted by Audrey. They grow one year and bloom the next, then die. If you scatter seeds two years in a row, there will be some blooming every year as they are self-seeding.
