Good day ~

My DH is looking to go white tail hunting in E Tx. I was wondering if any of you texans could recommend a guide service? (or, recommend against one, if need be ;-) I understand the season ends Jan 6th, so there might not be any dates available, but would appreciate the info anyway. He would either be flying in through Huston or Dallas and renting a car. He's willing to drive a few hundred miles from the air port if need be.

A columnist named Mike Leggett was and may still be associated with some guides and services, and has often written about the various sports such as hunting and fishing all over the state. His columns are published in Austin American Statesman, so you might be able to contact him there. I will see what I can come up with and get back to you. Just this minute saw this post.
