I loved all the entries in this year's County Fair. It is always a joy to see what folks have created during the past months. There is so much talent here at DG.
Congrats to all the winners. It is always difficult for me to choose my favorites I love them all. I am flattered to have won a ribbon and thank everyone who participated and voted this year.

How do you make the cascading concrete stones..very pretty.
Saw your picture of the front porch, it is beautiful.

Thanks so much. I use leaves from my garden for the castings. I flip the leaf over and cover with concrete. Let it set 24 hours then remove the leaf. The veins leave a great impression. Let the concrete garden then paint on a concrete sealer and then brush on layers of acrylics until I get the color effect I want. Then seal with clear coat for outdoor concrete.

As for the porch, we just moved here a year ago and I had a great time this spring getting that porch decorated with plants and seed I brought from hagerstoen.
